Framing Stations

Our framing stations boost your framing productivity with intelligent automation, user-centric design and a wide range of customization options.

Flexibility Is Key

Our framing stations allow you to improve productivity, reduce labor costs, and support scalable, customized production. Available in three versions – manual, partially automated or robotic – these innovative framing stations increase speed, precision and consistency and are highly customizable, including tooling options, transport direction, length, lifting and transport options after completion, and different material handling.

Manual Framing Station

The manual framing stations are available in three different formats: open (to allow for work inside the station near the element), closed (for elements that need a support underneath to avoid material falling through), or as a hybrid solution (with flexible configuration that enables manufacturing of studs in both longitudinal and latitudinal orientations). The stations have flexible configuration with movable pins for optimal nailing access. Elements are transported by manual rollers or height-adjustable driven chains. Custom options include sideways transport of elements, in addition to transport and lifting options for stacking or moving completed frameworks. The framing station can be complemented with nailing carts that travel on the long sides of the station, speeding up framing and improving consistency.

Advanced Framing Station

The advanced framing station is designed for fast, precise frame assembly. Featuring a gantry that feeds studs into the machine while an operator securely picks them into the frame structure. The bridge sets the stud positioning according to exact measurements and nails it automatically. Dual screens with shop drawings guide the operator's work. The station is customizable with nail pushers to reduce noise levels. For steel-based construction, we use magnets to hold the top and bottom plates in position. The framing station saves floor space by keeping the element secured during nailing while the bridge moves over it. Once completed, the framing station safely pushes the elements to the next station. The machine can be controlled directly through a user-friendly HMI or via integration with other systems, such as CAD.

Robotics solution for framing

Maximize automation within a framing cell by complementing a Triweco framing station with a robotic solution to pick up and place top and bottom plates, studs, and sub elements into the framing table in preparation for nailing. With precise material handling capabilities, a robotic solution enables continuous material flow and accurate placement.
